Cynthia “Cindy” Elaine Gardner, age 51, of Billings, Missouri.
Cynthia “Cindy” Elaine Gardner, age 51, of Billings, Missouri, passed away February 1, 2025. She entered this life on September 1, 1973, in Branson, Missouri, the daughter of James Junior and Billie (Chase) Lewallen. Her father; a son, Scott Randall Gardner, Jr; and her dog, Jellybean, have all preceded her in death.
Cindy was a talented computer programmer who worked for United Healthcare. She also received her CDL and was very proud of this accomplishment. Cindy’s creative skills were evident in the many items she crocheted for family members. As a talented cook, her family always looked forward to the delicious meals she prepared, especially her famous chicken and dumplings. An animal lover, she had many pets over her lifetime, and each one held a special place in her heart. From an early age, Cindy enjoyed spending time in the water swimming. She was fond of Kewpies, which her collection showed. Known as “Momo” to her grandchildren, Cindy loved the time she devoted to them and to her children. Her family was first in her heart. Even though she has passed from this life, Cindy’s family will forever cherish the memories she created and the love she had for each one of her family members.
Cindy is survived by her children: Taylor Crawford and husband Sam of Billings, Missouri, Gabrianna Gardner of Springfield, Missouri, and Scott Aaron Alijah Storm Gardner of Springfield, Missouri; her partner, David Moellering of Billings, Missouri; three granddaughters: Paisley Crawford, Aubrey Crawford, and Nevaeh Cover; her mother, Billie Cody and husband Bill; four sisters and their husbands: Theresa Lewallen of Cape Fair, Missouri, Lisa and Allan Gardner of Billings, Missouri, Jenna and Wynn Groves of Buffalo, Missouri, and Amanda and Tony Scheetz of Niangua, Missouri; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025, at McKinley Christian Church, 23952 Lawrence, Marionville, Missouri, with Richard Cunningham officiating. Inurnment at Yokum Pond Cemetery, Reeds Spring, Missouri, will be held later. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
