
Cynthia Jane Hulett, age 72, of Hollister, Missouri.
Cynthia Jane Hulett, age 72, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away March 28, 2025. She entered this life on November 30, 1952, the daughter of Oliver and Donna (Cotham) Phillips in Independence, Missouri. Cynthia was joined in marriage to Christopher “Chris” David Hulett on March 13, 1971.
With an explorative soul, Cynthia loved experimenting with different crafts and clubs. She was a talented software engineer and worked for Sprint for a long time. Cynthia was interested in genealogy and politics, which she loved to research and talk about. She enjoyed gardening, camping, cooking, floating on the river, and participating in Civil War reenactments for fifteen years. Cynthia enjoyed reading and collecting books. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. The memories and moments created throughout her life will be cherished by all who knew him.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Chris Hulett of Hollister, Missouri; son, Brian Hulett of Independence, Missouri; grandson, Ethan Connor Hulett; twin sister, Sylvia Witthuhn and husband, Richard of Jacksonville, Arkansas; sister, Olivia Sharpe of El Dorado Springs, Missouri; other extended family; and the Four-Legged Fur Ball, her beloved cat, Alex.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
There will be a visitation held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Cremations of the Ozarks, 115 Industrial Park Drive, Hollister, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Cremations of the Ozarks with Pastor Steve Young officiating. There will be a graveside following at Ozarks Memorial Park, 1638 MO-76, Branson, Missouri. Services and burial are under direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
