Dale Alan Tiemann, 77.
Dale Alan Tiemann, 77, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, left us on Monday, September 23, 2024. Born on August 11, 1947, to Albina and Charles Tiemann in St. Louis, Missouri, Dale was known by his family and friends to be a kind, patient, loving and caring individual.
Dale is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Laurie Schoenbeck Tiemann, his daughter Holly Tiemann (Paul Brach) and his grandsons, Zachary and Nathaniel Tiemann Brach.
Dale was preceded in death by his beloved son Scott (Jason Rudy). Dale graduated from Mehlville High School in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1965, and from the University of Missouri at Rolla, Missouri, in 1970. Dale was employed by Bechtel Power Corporation between 1970 and 2006, where he worked both on the construction of new nuclear power plants as well as on steam generator replacements in aging plants. Dale was a passionate model train enthusiast and built a huge Lionel Train layout which he loved sharing with family, friends, and the neighborhood children. He collected model train cars, tracks, and accessories for most of his adult life. He enjoyed repairing old train cars and building and expanding his very impressive layout. Another great love of Dale’s was lake life and water sports, especially boating, jet skiing, and water skiing. Living for ten years on Lake Conroe in Texas, and fourteen years on Table Rock Lake in Missouri, Dale shared his love of the water with visiting friends and family. He taught many people to water ski over the years, and his patience and guidance were appreciated by all those who learned the sport from him. Dale will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, and his memory will be a blessing to his family and friends.
