Daniel Thomas “Danny”
Daniel Thomas “Danny” was born May 25, 1945, to Dorthea and G. D. Thomas, Jr. He went to be with The LORD JESUS for the rest of his life a few days ago.
He is survived by Tricia Hilligoss, the mother of his two children; his oldest child and her husband, April and Robert Williamson of Bella Vista, Arkansas; his son and his wife, Glenn Dale Thomas III and Christine Thomas. Danny had five grandchildren, each is outstanding in their own right: Anna Mullis, Caleb Mullis, Chase Williamson, Genny Smith-Thomas, Sara Smith-Thomas, Sophie Thomas, and Juliette Thomas; and two great-grandchildren: Ross and Jaden Mullis. He is also survived by his brother, Ronald Thomas and his sister, Gloria Langston.
He was preceded in death by his sweet wife, Sherry Thomas; brother, Laddie Dale Thomas; father, Glenn Dale Thomas, Jr.; mother, Dorthea Thomas; and his beloved sister-in-law, Carol Thomas.
The single most important date in Danny’s life was August 31, 1964, because that day changed his life forever. That was when The LORD JESUS CHRIST became real to him, and He let him know that he was to spend his life ministering to others. He was a preacher in the United Methodist Church and interdenominational churches for a few years and conducted many revivals throughout Arkansas and a couple of other states. The LORD blessed his preaching, and many people were saved under his ministry. When he wasn’t pastoring, he was very active in various churches where he was a member. Wherever he was, he tried to minister to the needs of others and to bring a bit of happiness to each person he met. We hope he was somehow a blessing to you.
