David Nelson Warwick, age 89, of Branson, Missouri

David Nelson Warwick, age 89, of Branson, Missouri, passed away February 8, 2024, at his home with family nearby. He entered this life October 12, 1934, the son of Harry and Astrid (Venander) Warwick in Chicago, Illinois. David was preceded in death by his parents.

He was joined in marriage to Joy Gallacher on June 15, 1957, and they enjoyed each other’s company for over 66 years.

David proudly served our country in the United States Army. During his working years, he was senior technician of biological mechanical engineering. David worked for the Illinois Institute of Technology for fifteen years, then the University of Illinois. He completed his career and retired from the University of Michigan.

David loved his family deeply and well. He is survived by his wife Joy Warwick of Branson, Missouri, his son Douglas Warwick of Pinckney, Michigan, his daughter Doris (Dori) Rapinchuk of Branson, Missouri, four grandsons, and five great-grandchildren.

David loved the Lord Jesus Christ, and his life was a testimony to this truth. He was a good and faithful servant throughout his many years.

The memories and moments created throughout David’s life will be treasured by all who knew him.
