Delphia Lorene “Del” Holman, age 92, of Cassville, Missouri.

Delphia Lorene “Del” Holman, age 92, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025 at her home.

She was born September 12, 1932 in Compton, Arkansas the daughter of Frank and Cleo (Goodall) Perme. On January 1, 1955 in Miami, Oklahoma she was united in marriage to Calvin Holman, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Rod Holman and Gwyn Plumlee of Exeter, Missouri, Audy Holman and his wife Bettie of Cassville, Missouri and Stuart Holman and his wife Diana of Cassville, Missouri; two daughters, Calla Bacon of Exeter, Missouri and Jill LeCompte of Cassville, Missouri; two brothers, Joe Ray Perme and his wife Linda of Harrison, Arkansas and CJ Perme and his wife Liezl of Branson, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild with one on the way.

Preceding her in death were her parents, one daughter, Terri Holman; two brothers, Paul Perme and Frank Perme; two sisters, Shirley Perme and Betty Cook and two sons-in-law, Darrell Bacon and Michael LeCompte.

Del grew up and attended school in Compton, Arkansas until the age of 12 when she was sent to Hollister, Missouri to attend School of The Ozarks from where she graduated. She received her registered nursing diploma from St. Luke’s Hospital Training School. Del was employed as a registered nurse at South Barry County Hospital for over 30 years, where she served as the Director of Nurses, leading and overseeing a large team of nursing staff.

She and Calvin’s inspiring union lasted 70 years, culminating in a wonderful 70th anniversary celebration on January 1, 2025. Del and Calvin were rarely seen without each other, their bond a testament to true love and partnership. Her unconditional love for her family, particularly during the one-on-one moments with her children, will be fondly remembered and deeply missed. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cassville.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 21, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor James Weaver will conduct the services. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Cassville.

Contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in memory of Del.
