She attended the Rhema Bible School in Broken Arrow, OK. where she learned to minister to others with the Lord leading her.  Jean worked with Billye Brim’s Ministry for several years. She was very active in Nursing Home Ministries for many years. She attended the Life Christian Center Church, on F Hwy, Bull Creek, Mo. while she was able. Jean was Saved at the age of fourteen years and became a devoted Christian and witness for the Lord. You could see the love for the Lord and the people in her smile.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert James Altis, her parents; one son Ron Altis and six brothers, two infants and Wayne, Herbert, Norris and Paul Woods.

Jean is survived by her three sons and their spouses David Altis (Cheryl) of Forsyth, Mo., Larry Altis (Merlene) of Coweta, OK., Randy Altis (Ronda) of St. James, Mo. one sister Karen Warnick of Springfield, Mo., and nine grandchildren.  She will also be missed by numerous family and friends.
