Dottie Mae Maloney, age 88, of Cassville, Missouri.

Dottie Mae Maloney, age 88, of Cassville, Missouri passed into the Kingdom of Heaven on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Cassville Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Cassville, Missouri. She will join her husband and all the other loved ones gone on before.

She was born May 5, 1934 in Osage, Arkansas the daughter of Henry and Dovie (Bartlett) Phillips. On August 27, 1952 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas she was united in marriage to Estell D. “Shorty” Maloney, who preceded her in death on April 8, 2017. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Alpha and Ollie; five sisters, Erbie, Pauline, Inez, Martha and Agnes and one great granddaughter.

Surviving are two sons, Ronnie Maloney (Connie) of Wheaton, Missouri and Randy Maloney (Jasen Jones) of Joplin, Missouri; two daughters, Sharon Vaughn (Tom Wilson) of Gravette, Arkansas and Charlotte Ray (Jody) of Jenkins, Missouri; three sisters, Izell Johnson (Joe) of Springdale, Arkansas, Virginia King (Chris) of Bentonville, Arkansas and Betty Martz (Johnny) of Rogers, Arkansas; one sister-in-law, Wanda Maloney of Salinas, California; two special nieces who would sit with Dottie, Linda Weems of Berryville, Arkansas and Alvida Phelps of Cassville, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dottie was a quiet speaking woman but she blessed and touched so many lives. She gave her life to the lord at an early age and continued to love and serve the Lord the rest of her life. She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a prayer warrior and a singer in the church. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, word find puzzles and embroidering tea towels for all of her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. The family wishes to thank Three Rivers Hospice and Cassville Health and Rehabilitation for their special care of Dottie.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 8, 2022 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Rick Cooper will conduct the services. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Sunday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
