Dr. Daniel “Danny” Kerg Bartlett, age 64.
Dr. Daniel “Danny” Kerg Bartlett, age 64, passed away September 1, 2024, at home in Branson, Missouri. He entered this life on January 28, 1960, the son of Alfred and Dorothy “Dot” (Walker) Bartlett in Ontario, California. Danny was joined in marriage to Margaret “Margo” Cain on December 29, 2023.
Danny graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City Medical School with his doctorate in obstetrics and gynecology. He served the women of Albuquerque, New Mexico, in private practice for many years. Beyond his contribution to medical science, Danny’s favorite passion was pursuing fish with a fly rod. As a professional fly fisherman, he traveled all over the world ever in search of the prefect cast and the one that got away. The one that did not get away was the love of his life, Margo. His favorite words to her were “I love you, A Lot, Margo.” His final words were: “Margo, if this is Heaven, it’s not so bad.”
A man of many talents, there was nothing that he could not fix or repair. From carpentry and woodworking to landscaping and plumbing, Danny was a true craftsman. During his travels, one of his favorite places to visit was Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where Danny re-connected with Margo after 40 years. The memories and moments created throughout his lifetime will be treasured by all who knew him.
Danny is survived by his wife, Margaret “Margo” Bartlett of Branson, Missouri; two daughters: Mary Bartlett and Sarah Bartlett; stepchildren: Tommy, Jessica, Logan, and Jack; grandchildren: Thomas, Alex, George, Hunter, Ryan, Phoenix and Gia; two sisters: Mary “Mayr” Bartlett of Arizona and Carla Bartlett of California; and one brother, Tom Bartlett of Wisconsin.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a memorial mass held 10:00 AM Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Aurora, Missouri, followed by a Celebration of life and luncheon in the church hall.
