Ellen Marie Grams - June 11, 1968 - January 24, 2025.
Ellen Marie (Thompson) Grams, went to meet the Lord and gained her wings at home with her daughters by her side. She was born on June 11, 1968, the daughter of Wilfred Herman Thomas and Shirley Jean (Turner) Thompson in Davenport, Iowa.
Ellen worked most of her life in the medical field as a CNA. She also did personal care, making numerous lifelong friends. Ellen had such a kind and giving heart, she would give you anything she had even if it left her a little short. She had such an unconditional love for her children and family. She loved visiting with friends, doing crafts, and baking with her mother, but her favorite thing was when the little children came to visit, she would climb on the floor and ignore the adults and play with the kids. She would teach them, play, or read to them.
Ellen was preceded in death by both of her parents, one brother David Harris, one brother-in-law Stan Phillips. She is survived by two sisters, Jeanine (Jeff) Luebbe of Memphis, Tennessee, and Lisa Phillips of Diamond City, Arkansas, one brother Thomas (Melisa) Thompson of Lead Hill, Arkansas, and two daughters Bethany (Aaron) Oetting of Kissee Mills, Missouri and Carrie Grams of the home, that loved her very much. She also leaves behind four grandkids Becky, Kris, Jonathan, and Laiah and seven great grandchildren Madison, Allison, Macey, Wesley, William, Olivia, and Ryder. Also, Ellen leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, along with her extended family and friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Arkansas Hospice and Melanie Cenkus for being with her in her time of need. The Celebration of Life for Ellen will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, 1:00 pm at the Methodist Church in Diamond City, Arkansas with Pastor Steve officiating.
