Evaline Breazeale, age 95, passed away on November 19, 2021, with family by her side in Springfield, Missouri.
She entered this life on July 3, 1926, the daughter of Ernest and Eva (Puett) Brown in Springfield, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Ernestine Drumwright; husband, Paul; and son, Jody Breazeale.
With love of helping others, Evaline graduated from Cox School of Nursing as a registered nurse. She enjoyed gardening, mall walking, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, being the Queen of Chinese checkers, spending time with family, and making the best “grammy” burgers. She loved her family deeply and was often found playing with the grandchildren. Evaline was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Springfield, Missouri. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
She is survived by her sons: Andrew (Kathy) Breazeale of Pennsylvania and Terry (Michelle) Breazeale of Springfield, Missouri; daughters: Paula (Ross) Stuckey of Springfield, Missouri, and Ellen (Hugh) Dyer of Louisiana; daughter-in-law, Anita Breazeale of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren: Colin, Kari, Molly, Aaron, Elizabeth, and Olivia; and great-grandchild, Harper.
There will be a memorial service 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 26, 2021, at St. James Episcopal Church Springfield, Missouri, with Father Jos Tharakan officiating. Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 29, 2021, at Springfield National Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Seasons Hospice and St. James Episcopal Church.
