Gary Lee Herrmann, age 75, of Branson, Missouri

Gary Lee Herrmann, age 75, of Branson, Missouri passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the home of his daughter, Tamela Outersky.

            He was born August 22, 1946 in Cushing, Oklahoma the son of Eugene and Hazel (Harris) Herrmann.  On January 26, 1968 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma he was united in marriage to Debbie Grady, who survives.  Also surviving is one daughter, Tamela Outersky and her husband Brad of Washburn, Missouri; two sons, Stephen Herrmann and his wife Tara of Winnie, Texas and Michael Herrmann and his wife Sara of Galena, Missouri; one sister, Cathy Duncan of Galveston, Texas; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

                Preceding him in death were his parents.

            Gary graduated from Wynona High School in Wynona, Oklahoma.  He attended Oklahoma State University where he attained a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering.  He was in the Army National Guard for four years.  Gary and Debbie moved to Sulphur, Louisiana where he worked for Cities Service Oil Company for ten years.  They moved to Houston, Texas and worked in industrial chemical sales and owned their own business for thirty-four years.  They retired and became full time RV’ers in 2010, working as gate attendants for the Army Corps of Engineers at the Old Highway 86 Campgrounds on Table Rock Lake in Branson, Missouri.  He loved playing cards with his friends, traveling, cruising and going out to eat.  He was a devout Republican and patriot and a member of the Open Doors United Methodist Church in Blue Eye, Missouri.

            A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Open Doors United Methodist Church in Blue Eye under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.  Pastor Jack Smith will conduct the services.  Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 18, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

            The family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. until service time Thursday at Open Doors United Methodist Church.  Lunch will be served during this time, all are invited.

            Contributions may be made to Open Doors United Methodist Church in memory of Gary.
