Gary Lee Wieting, age 61, of Branson, Missouri

Gary Lee Wieting, age 61, of Branson, Missouri, passed away August 25, 2023. He entered this life December 7, 1961, the son of Virgil and Beverly (Honnor) Wieting in Lincoln, Nebraska. 

Being a loving father, Gary valued spending time with his daughters and granddaughter. He enjoyed any kind of racing event with his family and friends. Gary loved to be outdoors and doing various activities and events with his daughters and family. He was a true family man and the most reliable person to have in your corner. The memories and moments created over Gary’s lifetime will be cherished by all who knew him.

Gary is survived by his two daughters: Terri Crisler and husband, Tim of Hollister, Missouri, and Sonya Wieting; granddaughter, Emelyn Crisler; brother, Bruce Wieting and wife, Wendy of Colorado; sister, Sue Carlson and husband, Norman of Branson, Missouri; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Bev Sinner; stepfather, Larry Sinnner; and father, Virgil Wieting.

Gary was an organ and tissue donor through Mid America Transplant and his legacy will live on through the many people he will be able to help with his donation. His gift of life will help many others heal and that's the type of person he was!
