Henry “Hank” Thomas, beloved husband, father and grandfather, entered into rest peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, June 26, 2022.
Henry Patrick Thomas was born November 28, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to Patrick L. & Doris (Mellin) Thomas. He spent much of his life in California where he attended college. Hank lived in Simi Valley, California where he raised his children. Hank worked in Canoga Park, California as an electric technician for Rocketdyne, an aeronautical manufacturer in the space program. He later moved to Witts Springs, Arkansas where he had a farm and raised goats and cows. He enjoyed using his creative and industrial side to build rock walls and design Koi ponds at his homes. After leaving Witts Springs, Hank had lived in Blue Eye and currently resided in Kissee Mills. Hank married his loving wife Carolyn Jean (Harold) on November 21, 2016 in Harrison, Arkansas. They had celebrated five years together this last winter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen (Hopkins) Thomas; and a brother, Robert Thomas.
Hank is survived by his loving wife, Jean Thomas of Kissee Mills; children, David Thomas (Asami) of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Mark Thomas of Simi Valley, California, Christopher Thomas (Erika) of Gilbert, Arizona, Jonie Thomas of Fontana, California and Annette Solvang (Martin) of Everett, Washington along with four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
