Howard “Gene” Eugene Irwin, age 65, of Blue Eye, Missouri.

Howard “Gene” Eugene Irwin, age 65, of Blue Eye, Missouri, passed away on February 11, 2025. He entered this life on May 20, 1959, in Sebastopol, California, the son of Patrick and Reva (Stone) Irwin, who have preceded him in death. Gene was joined in marriage on June 16, 2004, to Tami Russell.

Growing up, Gene found interest in taking things apart and putting them back together. This led to him being introduced to electronics and computer programming in high school and starting a lifelong career in computers. When he wasn’t busy building, repairing, or playing on computers, Gene was helping others with theirs. He volunteered at church for the sound team until he and his wife moved to Missouri. Gene loved animals and had several pets over the years. In his spare time, he enjoyed music and movies. Gene will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Tami Irwin; stepsons: Chris Melvin and Just Melvin, both of Spring Lake, North Carolina; brother, Michael (Santi) Irwin and their son of Bahrain in West Asia; and various aunts and uncles.
