Hunter Gene Lane was born on June 20, 2007 in Harrison, Arkansas.
Hunter Gene Lane was born on June 20, 2007 in Harrison, Arkansas to Andrew Lane and Carrie Blevins. He grew up in Omaha, Arkansas and had just completed the 11th grade at Omaha High School.
Hunter lived a vibrant and full life. His big smile and outgoing demeanor left an indelible impression on everyone he met. His love for his family and friends was immense. Who could forget his favorite line, “How was your day?” to let you know he cared about you and he had arrived. He was a jokester and earned the title “class clown” and at the same time, always a respectful young man. Hunter loved the outdoors, camping, and fishing. He also had a fun interest in cars and loved his camper truck.
Hunter passed away June 10, 2024 from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. His life was so short but the things he will be remembered for are endless.
Hunter will be deeply missed by his family: parents, Andrew Lane and Carrie Blevins of Omaha; sisters, Kandace Keith of Poteau, OK, Hannah Lane and Tesla Lane both of Omaha, AR; grandparents, Carl and Coleen Blevins of Omaha and Andy Lane of Ft. Smith, AR; along with his extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins and all his friends and the Omaha community.
Preceding Hunter in death was his grandmother, Vickie Lane and great-grandparents, Herbert & Wanda Blair, Floyd “Punk” & Virgie Keys, Deloris Todd, Charles Blevins and Louie & Lorene Salokar.
Visitation will be Friday evening, June 14, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, 1638 E. State Hwy 76, Branson, MO. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 4:00 pm in the Omaha High School Gym, 522 College Road West, Omaha, AR 72662 with burial following in Omaha Cemetery.
