Inez Eckert, age 86, of Exeter, Missouri.
Inez Eckert, age 86, of Exeter, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at her home.
She was born in Lamkin, Texas on August 21, 1935 the daughter of Ezra and Edna (Tatum) Fulford. On December 24, 1952 in Bentonville, Arkansas she was united in marriage to Clarence Bertram “Bert” Eckert, who preceded her in death on March 22, 1989. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Homer Eckert; one brother, Rex Fulford and one son-in-law, Stanley Warner.
Surviving are two daughters, Della Warner of Exeter, Missouri and Luvon McGinn and her husband Sonny of Brownwood, Texas; six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Inez moved to this area from Texas and graduated high school in Wheaton, Missouri. Inez worked several jobs but most of her time was spent as a homemaker and raising her children to know the Lord Jesus Christ. She then attained an associate degree from Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri. Some of her favorite hobbies were sewing, quilting and working on crossword puzzles. She enjoyed reading her Bible, gardening, tending her flowers and watching the hummingbirds. She was a member of Ridgley Church of Christ.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Rick Hendrix will conduct the service. Burial will be at Creason Cemetery in Ridgley.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. Monday at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.
