Jack Allen Snook, age 69, of Ozark, Missouri passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri.
Jack was born August 22, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas to Richard and Gladys (Alexander) McClaflin. As a young boy, after the passing of his father he was adopted by Charles “Bone” Snook.
Jack went to school at Exeter and lived in the local community for most of his life before retiring and moving to be closer to his Grandbabies. Once in Ozark Jack was blessed to find his true calling and extended family at Walgreens where he worked various roles but was known by all for his infectious smile and “how you doin kid”.
Jack is survived by his wife of 46 years, Karen Snook of Ozark and two sons, Toby Snook of Ozark and Landon Snook and wife Jennifer of Scammon, Kansas. Papa Jack is also survived by his pride and joy of life, his four grandbabies, Wyatt, Madi, Zach and Jenna.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Dickie McClaflin and Forrest McClaflin and two sisters, Gwenyth Butler and Donna Kinzey.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Jack.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jerry Yarnall will conduct the services. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter.
