Jimmy Leon Brown Jr., age 52, of Branson, Missouri.
Jimmy Leon Brown Jr., age 52, of Branson, Missouri, passed away December 18, 2021, at home with his wife nearby. He entered this life October 14, 1969, in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Jimmy Brown Sr. and Judy (Brennan) Brown. He was joined in marriage November 25, 1994, to Janet Kay Bledsoe. He is preceded in death by his father and uncle, Jackie Roark.
Jimmy was an avid sports enthusiast, cheering for the Razorbacks, 49ers, Braves, and converted to the Chiefs by Janet. He was a camp counselor in Wisconsin for many years, but his passion was working as a sports official and a Special Education teacher for 25 years in Branson schools. Jimmy’s kindness and heart for kids is a testament to the lives he touched over the years.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 27 years, Janet Brown of Branson, Missouri; daughter, Kayla Christine Brown of Branson, Missouri; sons: Jacob Lyle Brown and Joshua Leon Brown; mother, Judy Christine Brown of Branson, Missouri; brother, Larry (Tina) Crow of Forsyth, Missouri; sister, Angel Smith of Texas; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
There will be a memorial service held 11 a.m. Monday December 27, 2021, held at the First Baptist Church, 400 S Sunshine, Branson, MO 65616, officiated by Pastor Jeremy Thomas.
