Julia Marler age 74 of Cedar Creek, Mo, entered eternal life on Thursday, August 4th in Forsyth, Mo surrounded by her family. A celebration of life will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday, August 12, 2022 in the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, Mo.
Julia Arlene Marler was born on Tuesday, December 30, 1947 in Branson, Mo to Johnny B. Wilson and Ester Wilson-Daily. Julia married Donald Marler on October 13, 1966. Don and Julia raised two daughters, Gina and Janet and one grandson, Dustin. Julia spent many years working for Hagel Garments in Forsyth. After leaving Hagel, she went to work for McDonald’s where she spent twenty-two years. Julia loved working the drive thru window wearing her hat with her pin collection and interacting with the customers.
Julia enjoyed exploring her Native American heritage and taking karate lessons. She also enjoyed crocheting and doing beadwork. Most of all, she enjoyed being outdoors with her grand children and great-grandchildren.
Julia is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Wilson and Ester Wilson-Daily; one sister, Linda Wilson-Turner; one brother, Rick Wilburn; one daughter, Janet Sue Marler.
She is survived by her husband, Don Marler and one grandson, Dustin, of the home; two brothers, David Wilson and wife, Debbie, Curt Wilson and wife, Sonja; one daughter, Gina Browne of Branson and her fiancé, Michael Flier; two granddaughters who have been so much help the last 2 1/2 years, Kasey Browne of Branson, Ashley Davis and husband, Jake of Taneyville and their five children.
Cremation is under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, Mo.
