Kelly Wade Combs, age 53, of Taneyville, Missouri
Kelly Wade Combs, age 53, of Taneyville, Missouri, passed away February 13, 2022. He was born September 12, 1968, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, the son of Lilbern Wade Combs and Glenda (Lane) Combs. Kelly was joined in marriage May 18, 1996, to Christine Ann Puttkammer.
Kelly proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a long-time member of the National Rifle Association. A kind and generous man, Kelly Combs developed many friendships across the United States during his career as a truck driver. He enjoyed the outdoors and God’s creation whether riding his Harley through the curves of the Ozarks or shooting his guns, Kelly had an appreciation for fine craftmanship, especially for old, classic cars. He was a loving husband, father, and a very devoted grandfather. His grandchildren were his world, Kelly loved playing with them and spending as much time as possible with them. Most of all, his family was his life and they loved him and are thankful for the memories and legacy he left for them.
Kelly is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Chris Combs; his siblings: Jason Combs, Cindy Combs, and Jennifer Davidson; daughters: Kristen Combs and Loren Combs; and two grandsons Corbin Drake and Liam Skiffington.
A gathering will be held Saturday March 5, 2022, at his home with Randy Dalton officiating. Many memories will be shared at that time. Patterson Cemetery will be final resting place for his urn.
