Kevin Lush, age 64, of Exeter, MO

Kevin Lush, age 64, of Exeter, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at his home. 

He was born April 4, 1957 in Pana, Illinois, the son of Bruce and Bobbie (Vernon) Lush.  He was raised by his stepfather, Robert Blankenship and his wife Debbie.  On September 20, 2015 in Exeter, Missouri he was united in marriage to Sheri Bates, who survives.  Also surviving are four sons, Kevin Bruce Gray and his wife Christa of Port St. Joe, Florida, Cole Lush and his wife Erica of Gibson City, Illinois,  Kyle Robbins of Hollister, Missouri and Joey Robbins of Purdy, Missouri; four daughters, Heather Davis and her husband Robert of Bay County, Florida, Dusty Heath and her husband John of Bay County, Florida, Beverly Lush of Bonifay, Florida and Jade Lush of Peoria, Illinois; one sister, Brenna Burlson and her husband Jim of Princeton, Illinois; sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Kevin grew up and received his education in Pana, Illinois where he graduated from high school and later attended college for one year.  He then joined the United States Army where he served for four years.  After leaving the army he became a truck driver and drove for several different companies, but he loved driving for Preddy Trucking.  He had lived in Missouri for the last twenty-one years.  One of his favorite pastimes was raising cattle but his favorite way to spend time was just being with his grandchildren and family. 

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, August 13, 2021 at Muncie Chapel Cemetery in Wheaton, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.
