Leonard Fred Coker, age 86, of Branson, Missouri, passed away on February 27, 2022. He entered this life on February 2, 1936, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of John and Mary (McPherson) Coker. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters. He was joined in marriage on April 28, 1972, to Linda Sword.
As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Leonard was strong in his faith with an affectionate and caring heart. He was a great father and loving husband whose laughter would light up the room. Leonard was a quiet man with a gift for listening. He was proud of the work he achieved as a sheet metal worker creating metal plates. On his free time, Leonard enjoyed fishing, playing solitaire and mahjong, and gardening, especially yellow roses. He admired feeding the birds and adored animals, mostly his puppy Tinker Bell. The memories shared will continue for years to come and Leonard will be forever missed.
He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Linda Coker; daughter, Lorinda (Karl) Weinrich of Union, Missouri; grandson, Jackob Weinrich; and daughter, Cassidy (Anthony) Head of Hollister, Missouri.
