Lisa Ann (Kenyon) Adamson
February 9, 1966 – December 17, 2022
Lisa (Kenyon) Adamson, age 56 of Forsyth, MO, passed away peacefully at Cox South in Springfield, Mo. Saturday, December 17, 2022 with her father & daughter by her side following a stroke. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Lisa was born Wednesday, February 9, 1966 in Branson, Mo. to Glenn & Patsy (Cook) Kenyon. She graduated Forsyth High School in 1984. While in high school, she also attended Gibson Tech where she found her life’s calling to become a nurse. Afterwards, she attended North Arkansas College & received her Associates Degree in nursing. In her 20+ year career she worked as a Hospice Nurse, Charge Nurse in the Step down unit, an ICU nurse, and a travel nurse for awhile.
She is survived by her father, Glenn Kenyon of Forsyth; daughter, Courtney Jelinek of Forsyth; three grandchildren, Ryder, Braxton and Camden Jelinek whom she loved more than anything in the world; a very special nephew, Josh Kenyon, of Willow Springs whom she cared for, for many years while he was in grade school; sister, Kay Deskins of Jefferson City, MT.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Patsy (Cook) Kenyon; her late husband, Clayton Adamson, along with her grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
For the past decade she enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her grandkids, teaching them things and doing lots of fun things together. She also really enjoyed being in her garden from sun up to sun down most days in the spring & summer.
Cremation is under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home Forsyth, MO.
