Marie Fay Long...

Marie Fay Long was born in Branson, MO at her family’s home nearly under the Christmas tree on December 24, 1942.  She was the beloved daughter of Dean & Juanita Leckrone. Marie was a devoted mother and cared deeply for her family.

She will be remembered as a cheerful and sweet woman, loved by everyone.  She enjoyed having fun, dancing and listening to Johnny Cash and Elvis.  She took classes in cooking and painting and was gifted with the paintbrush.  She also loved to cross stitch or do “stiches” as Marie referred to it.

Marie passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 in Springfield, MO at the age of 82 in the loving presence of her daughter and caregivers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Juanita and her brother, Dale Leckrone.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Linda McGuire of Gentry, AR; three grandchildren, Disty Lynn Steely of Gentry, AR, Michael Ray Weeks of Kissee Mills, MO and Amanda Sue Kindy of Gentry, AR; twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.  Graveside services will follow at 2:00 pm in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
