Marilyn Sue Albright...

Marilyn Sue Albright, born November 15, 1946, in Forsyth, Missouri, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025, at the age of 78 with her daughters by her side. She was the daughter of Addis and Francis Everett and grew up in Forsyth, where she attended school and began a life filled with fun and adventures with her siblings and cherished cousins, the Whitley boys. In July of 1963, Marilyn married the love of her life, Buddy Albright. Together they made their home in Bradleyville, Missouri, where shewould become a lifelong resident.

Marilyn worked as a secretary at Bradleyville School for many years, where she was known for her kindness, warm smile, and dedication to the students and staff. After retiring, she found joy in the quiet beauty of her yard and garden, where she spent countless hours.

A woman of many talents, Marilyn loved to sing, paint, cook and create. She especially loved to sing and play the piano at church, where her beautiful voice touched many hearts and brought comfort and joy to those around her. Marilyn was also a devoted caregiver, lovingly tending to her parents and in-laws in their later years. She spent time making wonderful memories with her grandsons, from swimming at the creek, fishing and squirrel hunting to making her ‘famous’ cheeseburgers.

She is survived by her daughters, Kelly Johnson and husband Gregg of Bradleyville, and Paula O'Neal and husband Ron of Republic; four grandsons, Brett Johnson (Sandra) of Ozark, Zachary Johnson of Bradleyville, Hunter O'Neal (Chloe) of Parsons, KS, and Brady O'Neal (Hannah) of Republic; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia Johnson and Ellis O'Neal.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Buddy Albright; her parents, Addis and Francis Everett; two sisters; and three brothers.

Special thanks go to Mel Whittaker for all the love and care she gave to Marilyn and Buddy over the past several years. Her kindness and support will always be remembered and appreciated by the family.

In accordance with Marilyn’s wishes, she will be cremated. The family will gather for a private celebration of her life at a later date.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Cremation arrangements were in the care of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel.
