Melanie “Gilly” Ann Wiggins (Beach) of Branson, MO, died peacefully in the comfort of her own home with family on January 12, 2022. She was 50 years old.
Melanie will be remembered lovingly by her husband and love of her life, Rick, her sons, Ricky Jr. and Rafe, her bonus daughter Samantha (Brad), and her adored grandchildren Bradley Jr., Isabelle, Dominic, and Cooper. Survivors also include her sister Melissa Koerner (Billy Bob), her brother Adam Beach (Alexandra), sister-in-law Victoria Walters (Ron), brother-in-law Mitch and all of their children, and nephew Kenny Wiggins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Dorothy Materac, her mother-in-law Jeanette Bianco, and her brother-in-law Dennis Wiggins.
Melanie was born to Carol Hilker and Jerry Beach in Toledo, OH and spent most of her childhood growing up in Olathe, KS. Melanie met her cherished husband Rick in 1998 and they were instantly in love. They were married just a few short years later in October 2001. Melanie enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her children. She enjoyed shopping and took pride in having a beautiful home. She could most often be found engulfed in the History channel. She found history fascinating, especially Queen Elizabeth. She loved to travel with her husband Rick, and some of her most cherished memories were those she spent traveling making memories on family trips. She loved gold panning and the Colorado Mountains. She also enjoyed spending time riding the Harley with her husband Rick.
Those that knew Gilly knew her smile would just light up a room. She had a way of always bringing life to all that she touched and she will be greatly missed.
Friends and family will be welcome to attend a memorial service in Kansas City, MO. Further details to be listed at a later date.
Cremation is under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
