In 2023, he achieved a lifelong dream by successfully scoring his trophy elk in Utah. This accomplishment was just one of many moments that showcased his perseverance, patience, and love for nature.

Monty’s life was a testament to the importance of family, the joy of outdoor adventures, and the strength of character. He had a way of making everyone feel like they were the most important person in the room, and his kind heart, infectious smile, and sense of humor will never be forgotten.
