Nancy D. Brush, 78, of Branson.

Nancy D. Brush, 78, of Branson went to be with her Lord on Thursday, Mar. 28, 2024, from Branson.  A celebration service will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the Walnut Shade Baptist Church, 8409 US Hwy 160, Walnut Shade at 2:00 PM.  Burial will follow at the Snapp Cemetery, Forsyth, Mo. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth.

Nancy was born to Stanley and Betty Staats in Pratt, Kansas, on February 10, 1946. Nancy graduated from Pratt High School in 1964. She had three sons, John Wehling, Craig Wehling (who died shortly after birth), and Justin Wehling (who passed away in 2020).

She married Bill Brush on March 26, 1976, in Pratt, KS.  They had 48 wonderful years of marriage. Bill and Nancy lived in Towanda, Kansas until they moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas in 1999, and then to Forsyth in 2004. Her last years were spent in Branson where she worked for 16 years at the Moon River Theatre. She was a talented seamstress who took great joy in making items, things and clothes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Betty Staats, her brother, Bob Staats, and two sons, Craig and Justin Wehling.

Nancy is survived by her devoted husband Bill, who tirelessly cared for her throughout the final months of her illness, a son John Wehling and his wife, Anne Marie, and their children Josiah, Joshua, and Katherine, and by a daughter-in-law Staci, and her children Kaylee and Kassidi, and eight great-grandchildren.
