Norma Jean Wiseley, age 87, of Cassville, Missouri was called home by her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Cassville Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Cassville, Missouri.
She was born February 21, 1935 in Red Oak, Iowa the second of five daughters to Emit and Mildred (Murry) Hyde. She was met in heaven by her parents, Emit and Mildred; two sisters, Erma Dean Hilton and Peggy Writer; a great grandaughter, Chloe Marie Campbell; three nephews, Rick, Michael and Alan and one niece, Shiela.
Surviving are one son, Leonard Wiseley and his wife Sandra of Washburn, Missouri; one daughter, Evelyn Nicholas of Cassville, Missouri; two sisters, Shirley Beck and her husband Virgil of Cassville, Missouri and Betty Stubblefield of Cassville, Missouri; four grandaughters, Kimberly, Stacy, Emily and Sara and five great grandchildren, Bailey, Madelyn, Bentley, Brooklyn and Beckham.
In 1939 Norma and her family moved to the Washburn, Missouri area where Norma attended school graduating from Southwest High School in 1954. She was employed by the Vaisey-Bristol Shoe Corporation and Justin Boot Company for several years. She enjoyed reading, embroidery and baking, especially bread and cinnamon rolls. She was a member of the Washburn Church of Christ. Norma will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Washburn Church of Christ, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Lee Beck and Rick Hendrix will conduct the services. Burial will be at Washburn Prairie Cemetery in Washburn, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Fair Haven Children’s Home in memory of Norma.
