Patsy Ann Hyman

Patsy Ann Hyman, 76.

Patsy Ann Hyman, entered into rest with her Lord on August 23, 2024, at the age of 76 at her home in Kimberling City.  Born in Pampa, Texas, on January 17, 1948, to the late Herman and Laverne (Walden) Glover, Patsy's life will be remembered for its beauty, fun, determination, wisdom, care and love.

Patsy's early years were spent in Pampa, where she attended primary and high school. Her pursuit of higher education led her to Texas Tech, where not only did she earn a bachelor's degree in Accounting but also met her husband, Harold Hyman. They were married on May 23, 1970 in Pampa.  Patsy accompanied Harold to the various Naval bases he was stationed at during their early marriage. She worked different accounting jobs during this time and welcomed the birth of their son, Coby, while stationed in Hawaii.

Patsy and her family settled in Amarillo, Texas spending over twenty wonderful years there.  She remained a professional in the accounting field including operating her own successful certified public accounting practice. She and Harold spent time living in Littleton, Colorado and Woodbury, Minnesota before retiring to Kimberling City, Missouri twelve years ago.

Patsy was a woman of faith and compassion. She had been an active member of Paramount Baptist Church in Amarillo, the New Life Church in Woodbury, MN, the United Methodist Church in Kimberling City,  the Broadway Christian Church in Mesa, Arizona, as well as the Rock of the Ozarks Church, and most recently attended Woodland Hills Family Church in Branson.

Patsy also had a competitive spirit and delighted in the camaraderie and challenge of golf, tennis, and pickleball, often playing alongside Harold and their friends. She also enjoyed playing bridge and other card games, and her artistic side shone through in her time spent watercolor painting.

Patsy is survived by her devoted husband, Harold Hyman; her loving son, Coby Hyman of Houston, TX; her brother, Gerald Glover; and her nephew, Steven Gregory Glover both of Pampa. Her presence will also be profoundly missed by her many friends.

To honor her memory, memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society, donate.cancer.org.

A celebration of Patsy’s life will be Friday, September 20, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Ledgestone Country Club in Branson West.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
