
Phillip Stephen Storch...
Phillip Stephen Storch was born on April 21, 1939 in Bronx, New York to Louis & Daisy Storch. He graduated high school in the Bronx and attended college for training to be a court reporter. Phil worked many years in both New York City and Florida as a court reporter. He was also a proud member of the United States Army Reserves.
It was while living in Florida, Phil went on a date with Constance “Toni” Ambruso and the two were married eight months later on August 5, 1984 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL embarking on 40 years together of love and fun. Phil and Toni moved from their Florida home twenty years ago to Branson to be close to Phil’s siblings.
Phil enjoyed baseball, bowling, taking casino trips and was a longtime sharp at horse betting. He loved spending time at the horse track and more recently, on-line betting. He and Toni also shared a morning ritual of eating breakfast at Steak ‘n Shake.
Phil passed away at his home in Branson on January 30, 2025 at the age of 85.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Phil will be deeply missed by his family: wife, Toni Storch of Branson; sons, Mathew Storch of Ft. Lauderdale and Scott Storch of Sunny Isles Beach, FL; their mother Joyce Storch of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; as well as his grandchildren. Phil was the best big brother to his brother, Gerald “Jeremy” Storch & wife Brenda of Ozark, MO and sister, Susan Storch of Eureka Springs, MO. Phil also leaves behind his half-brother, Dave Barcow & wife Louise Barry of New York City, NY and best friends, Mike and Judy Oliphant of Hollister.
Phil will be interred at Eureka Springs Cemetery this spring. Cremation arrangements were in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
