Rachel Marie Riutzel, 39, of Branson, Missouri

Rachel Marie Riutzel, 39, of Branson, Missouri, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023.  She was born on July 28, 1983 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Donna Riutzel Christensen (husband Kenny Christensen) of Branson, Missouri and Robert S Riutzel (wife Kimberley) of Onalaska, Wisconsin. 

Rachel is survived by parents and step-parents as well as her identical twin sister, Leah Riutzel (Steven Stachowiak) and brother Luke Riutzel (wife Christine), Rachel’s children, as well as aunt and uncle Diane and Stanley Hauser of Onalaska, WI and their daughter Ruth Eltrich (husband Aaron) and their children Abigail and Greyson, also Uncle George Wheelock (deceased of Chadwick, Missouri) and his children Matthew (Shyanne Sena) and Faith Wheelock.

Rachel graduated from New Life Academy in Hollister, Missouri in 2002 where she earned awards for academics, basketball and volleyball.

Rachel was the full-time mother of three beautiful boys.  Brady, Sawyer, and Nathan Riutzel. They were her pride and joy.  Prior to becoming a mother, Rachel worked at various management positions. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially biking and kayaking.  Rachel also cherished time spent with friends.

Rachel loved her Lord and Savior. She was passionate about sharing the love of Christ and the hope of His gospel. She was happiest when serving on the worship team and in ministry. People have described her as “a bright shining light”. She was always sharing love and compassion with those in need. She will be greatly missed but her family takes comfort in the fact that she is at peace in the perfect love of her heavenly father.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the fund that has been set up for the Riutzel boys at Central Bank of Branson.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening, March 22, 2023 from 6-7:30 PM at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, 1638 E. State Hwy 76, Branson, MO.  On Thursday, March 23, 2023 a time of visitation will begin at 10:00 AM at Grace Community Assembly, 3101 Gretna Rd., Branson, MO 65616 with the Celebration of Rachel’s Life to follow at 11:00 AM.
