Raymond Bradley “Brad” Bowen

Raymond Bradley “Brad” Bowen, age 67, of Cassville, Missouri

Raymond Bradley “Brad” Bowen, age 67, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at his home.

He was born May 7, 1956 in Ukiah, California the son of Harold and Shannon (Wills) Bowen, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were two sisters.  He met and married Sandy Wright, daughter of the late Bob and Monna Wright on January 28th, 1979, in Kemmerer, Wyoming.

Surviving are his wife, Sandy; one son, Brandon Bowen of Cassville, Missouri; two daughters, Season Bowen of Sacramento, California and Brittany Rogers of Olivehurst, California; one brother, Scott McAlister of Prunedale, California; two sisters, Allison of Salinas, California and Maureen Martindale of Atlanta, Georgia and six grandchildren.

Brad attended school in Salinas, California where he excelled in wrestling. After graduating high school he moved to Utah where he worked with his dad in the family business, moving trailer houses. It was then he discovered the oil fields where he quickly climbed the corporate ladder, becoming the youngest guy to ever hold the title of driller. He thoroughly loved what he did, being responsible for a crew of five guys without ever having anyone get hurt.

Brad and Sandy moved from Salinas, California to Cassville, Missouri in September of 2022 to be closer to family.

Brad loved being on his Harley Davidson and taking part in charity rides, especially Toys for Tots. Brad lived life to the fullest. He was always there to lend a “hand up” to anyone who needed it. He would gladly give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. He was a hard worker and was not one to take short cuts. Brad was a friend to many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Private services will be held at a later date.  Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
