Beloved friend Rebecca (Becky) Ramer, of Branson, passed away February 5, 2025 in her home peacefully.
She was born November 18, 1962 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to Samuel and Gertrude (Demuth) Ramer and she grew up and attended school in Leslie, Arkansas. After high school, Becky furthered her education years at College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout and went on to secure her Masters Degree for teaching. Becky was very selfless in everything she did and relationships she had. This kind heart lead her to a career of teaching, where she took great pride and excellence into mentoring her students. She taught in the Branson school district for 29 years. In the summers, she enjoyed working at the Branson Tracks. When Becky took time away from working, she would indulge herself in reading, crocheting, working puzzles, and playing board games. Becky practiced her faith in God at First Baptist Church in Branson where she enjoyed many years of valued friendships. Her love for the Lord was apparent in all aspects of her life. She was loved by everyone she was around.
Becky is preceded in death by her grandparents Peter and Freda Demuth, Mervin and Susie Ramer, parents Sam and Gertrude Ramer. She leaves behind brother Mark and wife Emma Ramer of Harrison, Arkansas, sister Deborah and husband Kenneth Post of Hutto, Texas, nieces and nephews, Matthew and Nathan Post, Lydia Cooper and husband Jason Cooper, Sarah Williams and husband Riley Williams, Joseph Ramer and wife Lani Ramer, along with great nieces and nephews, Draven Post, Shiloh and Miles Cooper, Cash Clouse, Rory, Wilder, Abel, and Maeve Williams, and many cherished friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will take place at the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory in Branson February 9th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow in the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery.
