Richard Gene “Rick” Lee, age 75, of Springfield, Missouri

Richard Gene “Rick” Lee, age 75, of Springfield, Missouri passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at Cassville Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Cassville, Missouri.

            He was born January 18, 1948 in Madison, Wisconsin the son of Robert Albert and Dorothy Loraine (Draeger) Lee, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was a sister, Sherri.

            Surviving are one son, Paul Lee of Springfield, Missouri; one daughter, Jeannie Messick and her wife Cheryl of Springfield, Missouri; two brothers, Brian Lee and his wife Jan of Wisconsin and Bobbie Lee and his wife Kay of Wisconsin; one sister, Carol Skildum and her husband Darrell of Marietta, Georgia; one grandchild, Alexandria Ainsworth and her husband Brandon and three great-grandchildren, Sophia, Elliott and Veda.

            Rick attended school in Bettendorf, Iowa graduating from Bettendorf High School and later attended Bryan University in Springfield, Missouri where he attained a business degree. He owned and operated Lee’s TV Service in Springfield, Missouri for 40 years. He enjoyed flying remote controlled airplanes, fishing and just being outdoors.

            Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
