Ricky Dewayne Hodges, age 65, of Branson, Missouri.

Ricky Dewayne Hodges, age 65, of Branson, Missouri, passed away on December 10, 2021. He entered this life on September 28, 1956, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Glen and Ivah (Root) Hodges. He was joined in marriage to the love of his life, Debbie Johnson, on February 6, 1976. He is preceded in death by his parents. 

A pastor for over 30 years, Ricky rejoiced in being able to share the message God gave him. He enjoyed fishing, playing bass and drums, and being outdoors. He was a people-person, loving to tell jokes, pull pranks, and just have fun with others. He was a loving and selfless example of how a true gentleman should be, he will be greatly missed. 

“He was madly in love with his sweetheart of forty-five years. His wife, kids, and grandkids were his whole world!” 

He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Debbie Hodges of Branson, Missouri; two sons: Timothy Dewayne(Beth Ann) Hodges and Titus Lee (Deb Kay) Hodges; daughter, Tabitha Lynn (Mark) Sander; grandchildren: Shelbi Marie (David) Marie, Marissa May Mclaughlin, Haven Elizabeth Hodges, Houston Dewayne Glen Hodges, Makenzey Kay Hodges, Courtney Lee Hodges; great-grandson, Harley Paul Ray Mardis; brothers: Ivan Ray Hodges and Rick Dewayne (Debbie Lynn) Hodges; and sister, Lawnetta Gayle Hodges and husband Ray Barker.
