Robert Lynn Hayes, age 61, of Purdy, Missouri

              Robert Lynn Hayes, age 61, of Purdy, Missouri passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Joplin, in Joplin, Missouri.

            He was born November 30, 1962 in Monett, Missouri the son of Bobby and Kay (Nunnallee) Hayes. On August 22, 2015 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas he was united in marriage to Tamela Pointer, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Kay Hayes of Cassville, Missouri; three sons, Joseph Crow of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Chad Pointer of Purdy, Missouri and Tyler Hayes and his wife Cherie of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; one daughter, Tarah Pointer of Purdy, Missouri; one brother, Kevin Hayes of Cassville, Missouri; one sister, Glenna Hayes of Cassville, Missouri and seven grandchildren.

            Preceding him in death were his father, Bobby Hayes and one brother, Ernie Hayes.

            Robert grew up and attended school in Cassville, Missouri. He was a self-employed construction worker. Some of his favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, archery, cooking and just being outdoors. He was a member of Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church.

            Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 12, 2024 at Gunter Methodist Church in Butterfield, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jerry Nickle will conduct the services. Burial will be at Gunter Cemetery in Butterfield, Missouri.

            The family will receive friends from 10:00 until service time Monday at Gunter Methodist Church in Butterfield.

            Contributions may be made to the family in memory of Robert.
