She was involved in 4H for many years as a leader, teaching all aspects of life to children. After Oliver and Rosalie were married they were able to enjoy traveling, to which she has many great memories. They were members of the VFW and volunteered at the Salvation Army Camp one summer teaching children to fish. Giving back when she could was very important to her. Rosalie lived most of her life in Barry County Missouri. She has always been involved in Church. She and Oliver attended and were members of Freewill Baptist Church in Purdy for almost fifteen years and at the time of passing she was a member of Gunter Methodist Church. Gunter always held a special place and memories as this was where she went as a child with her grandparents, who lived not far from the school building where services were held. She was proud to say that reading the bible daily is the best thing anyone can do. Rosalie loved to tell stories of the changes in our world and experiences she had in her 91 years. She also enjoyed cheering grandkids and church kids on at ball games. Everyone knew when she didn’t agree with a call that had been made.
