Sandra Kay “Sandy” Kroll, age 57, of Monett.

Sandra Kay “Sandy” Kroll, age 57, of Monett, formerly of Fairview, Missouri passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 in Monett, Missouri.

She was born March 6, 1964 in Columbia, Missouri the daughter of Alfred E. and Hazel I. (Hilker) Bruton.  On July 6, 1988 in Miami, Oklahoma she was united in marriage to Russell W. Kroll, who preceded her in death on February 21, 2019.  Also preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Jamie Bruton and three brothers-in-law, Bill Anderson, Richard Granger and David Smith.

Surviving are one son, Steven Kroll of Springfield, Missouri; one daughter, Amber Kroll of Carl Junction, Missouri; one brother, Richard Bruton of Wheaton, Missouri; five sisters, Mable Anderson of Kansas City, Missouri, Sheryl Smith of Monett, Missouri, Mildred Granger of Aurora, Missouri, Delores Stewart and her husband Bruce of Monett, Missouri and Margaret Batson and her husband Rodney of Monett, Missouri and one grandson, Matthew Smith.

Sandy graduated from Monett High School.  For several years she was employed by Petit Jean Poultry in Wheaton as an inspector and later at George’s Incorporated in Butterfield as a certified USDA inspector.  She enjoyed going on adventures and traveling to new places.  The holidays were her favorite time of year.  Doing things with her grandson, spending time with her sisters and family were what she loved the most.  She was a member of the Church of Christ in Stark City.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 6, 2022 at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.  J.R. Burr will conduct the services.  Burial will be at Muncie Chapel Cemetery in Wheaton.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.

Contributions may be made to Muncie Chapel Cemetery in memory of Sandy.
