Sharon Ann Smith, age 77, of Cassville, Missouri.

Sharon Ann Smith, age 77, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Friday, April 11, 2025 at the home of her daughter.

She was born February 1, 1948 in Joplin, Missouri the daughter of Lou Theron and Bonnie Lucile (Eddington) Smith. On July 1, 1966 in Joplin, Missouri she was united in marriage to Steven G. Smith Sr., who preceded her in death on November 4, 2021. Also preceding her in death were her parents; step grandson, Patrick; brother, Butch Smith and sister, Carolyn Copher.

Surviving are her son, Steven Smith II and his wife Robin of Bentonville, Arkansas; daughter, Mischelle Moore and her husband John of Rocky Comfort, Missouri; sister, Marilyn Connely and her husband Dale of Joplin, Missouri; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Sharon grew up and attended school in Duenweg, Missouri graduating from Duenweg High School in 1965 later attending Crowder College, earning an Associate Degree in Business. She and Steve moved to Cassville in 1975 coming from Joplin. Sharon owned and operated Stitches Fine Fabrics and Notions in Cassville for many years. She made numerous Quilts of Valor for disabled veterans. She was a former member of the Soroptimist Club, where she worked towards improving the lives of women and girls. Her generosity extended to tutoring Hispanic children in English. Sharon was talented at everything she did.

Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
