
Shirley Ann Wiles, 86, of Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Shirley Ann Wiles, 86, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on February 27, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born in Newport, Kentucky, on October 16, 1938, the daughter of Alred and Corine (Humbel) Bartlett.
Shirley was a very spiritual and faithful woman. She loved her lord, and she knew exactly where she was going when she passed. She was a devote Catholic and adored her church. She was a homemaker raising her 5 children while they were at home but when they grew up, she worked for the church as their secretary for many years before retiring. Shirley spent countless hours fishing on the North Fork River, she enjoyed playing Bingo. Shirley was an excellent cook, everything she made tasted delicious.
Shirley and Phil met when they were only 15 years old, Shirley decided to jump on the back of Phil’s motorbike. She put her arms around his waist and Phil knew he was in trouble, but the good kind of trouble. He and she fell in love and have been inseparable for over 70 years, they have been married for 66.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents and brother Richard Bartlett. She is survived by her husband Phil, her children Susan, Sherry (Ron), Sandy (Jim), Connie and Ken (Lacy). Shirley also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Not to mention numerous other family members and friends, especially her church family.
Shirley will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
