Terry Lee McDonald, age 74, of Branson, Missouri.

Terry Lee McDonald, age 74, of Branson, Missouri, passed away March 8, 2024, with family by his side. He entered this life on July 23, 1949, the son of Clay and Joyce (Wood) McDonald in Davenport, Iowa. Terry was joined in marriage to Kimberley Marie McQuillen on July 2, 1988.

Terry proudly served in the United States Marines Corps during the Vietnam War obtaining the rank of Lance Corporal. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. After his service to his country, he ventured into many endeavors including real estate along with business ownership of resorts and restaurants. Terry also served his community for many years as police chief in Blue Grass, Iowa. A man of many talents, he could build or fix anything, enjoying many hours in his shop. The memories and moments created over a wonderful lifetime will be cherished by all who knew him.

Terry is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Kimberley McDonald of Branson, Missouri; five children: Terry Edward McDonald of Branson, Missouri, Jennifer (James) McGraw of Denver, Colorado, Carrie (John) Behm of Fort Worth, Texas, Maria McDonald of Davenport, Iowa, and Margarito McDonald of Davenport, Iowa; grandchildren: Jenna, Jaclyn, Jackson, Devin, Isadora, Brian, Broc, Blayne, Kyle, Anisa, Nathan, Austin, Adrianna, Riley, and Bradley. He is also survived by his brothers: Mike, Timmy, Keenan, Ted, and Buddy; sisters: Cathy, Carol, Patty, Debbie, Vicky, and Tina; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Keenan Graves; brothers: Danny, Paul, and David; sisters: Susie and Ginger; and family members: Marlene and Margarito Sanchez.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 208 Meridian St., Tipton, Iowa, with reception to follow. Memorial contributions may be made in Terry’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
