, Torita Rose Boothage 43, of Kimberling City, Missouri, passed suddenly March 8, 2023. She entered this life April 14, 1979, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of Ken and Susan (Bruce) Guthrie.
Known as an open-hearted, kind, generous, and giving person, Torita was always caring for others. She had a knack for writing, painting, and cooking. Torita was strong with a caffeine habit that was also strong. She loved music, any kind of music was fine. One thing for sure, she loved her grandbabies and invested all the time possible with them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Torita is survived by her four daughters: Aryana (Brian Knight) Mallory of Avondale, Louisiana, Tatum Trosclair of Kimberling City, Missouri, and Malia Trosclair of Kimberling City, Missouri, and Daryin Stein of Marrero, Louisiana; four grandchildren: Bentley Thibodeau, Avayah Knight, Eli Knight, and Isabella Palmero; mother, Susan Bruce of Kimberling City, Missouri; father, Ken Guthrie of Gulf Port, Mississippi; sister, Heidi Coulter of Branson West, Missouri; significant other, Colton Evans of Kimberling City, Missouri; and four “fur babies”: Willow, Ash, Yoda, and Bella; along with many other friends and extended family.
Torita is preceded in death by her grandparents.
