William Loran Robbins

William Loran Robbins, age 83, of Jenkins, Missouri

            William Loran Robbins, age 83, of Jenkins, Missouri passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at his home.

            He was born July 11, 1939 in Gravette, Arkansas the son of Wallace John and Violet Lucille (Weeks) Robbins. On October 28, 1962 he was united in marriage to Cleo Joann Shrum, who preceded him in death on February 13, 2021. Also preceding him in death were his parents; one great-grandson, Liam Bradshaw; two brothers, Lawrence Robbins and William Dean Robbins and one sister, Patricia Balmas.

            Surviving are two sons, David Robbins and friend Sarah Mahoney of Jenkins, Missouri and Ricky Robbins and his wife Virginia of Jenkins, Missouri; two daughters, Mary Steer and her husband Lloyd of Yukon, Oklahoma and Lynna Cooper and her husband Michael of Cassville, Missouri; two sisters, Olieva Thompson of Jenkins, Missouri and Geneva Eggers of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

            William attended school in Monett, Missouri graduating from Monett High School in 1957. He logged for several years and worked at the foundry in Crane, Missouri before starting his own carpentry business from where he retired. William enjoyed working with cattle, going to farm and tractor shows, collecting John Deere tractors, reading his Bible and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Aurora, Missouri.

            Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor David Pryor will conduct the services.

            The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

            Contributions may be made to Clio Cemetery in memory of William.
