William “Will” Raymond Engel AKA SGT Kowalski, age 59, Harrison, Arkansas

William “Will” Raymond Engel AKA SGT Kowalski, age 59, passed away July 19, 2023. He entered this life on May 25, 1964, the son of Harry and Sarah (Johnson) Engel in Glendale, California. Will was joined in marriage to Shainey Ann Vaniman on October 25, 1986.

Having a gregarious soul, Will was the master of practical jokes and trivia. He loved spending time with his family, swimming in creeks, watching movies, traveling, and shooting targets. Will was fond of barbequing and eating oatmeal cream pies. The memories and moments created over his lifetime will be cherished by all who loved him.

Will is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Shainey Engel of Harrison, Arkansas; three children: Miranda Engel of Branson West, Missouri, Raymond Engel of Hollister, Missouri, and Racheal Engel of Harrison, Arkansas; grandchildren: Collin, Atlantis, and Rebecca. He is also survived by his stepfather, Phillip Daulberg; sister, Victoria McBride of Hollister, Missouri; two brothers: Brian Engel of Hollister, Missouri, and Richard Johnson of Nixa, Missouri; brother-in-law, Gary Grewer of California; nephew, Steven Grewer of California; and three nieces: Stephanie Foster of San Francisco, California, Jessica Brown of Rogers, Arkansas, and Hailey Valentine of Nixa, Missouri; and uncle, Raymond Gene Johnson.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Harry Engel and Sarah Daulberg; sister, Laura Ann Grewer; nephew, BJ Engel Jr.; and uncle, Ray Engel.

There will be a celebration of life will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday August 20, 2023, at Standing by the Door ministry, 704 US_65 Bus, Branson, Missouri.
