William “Willie” James Selfridge, age 43, of Branson, Missouri.
William “Willie” James Selfridge, age 43, of Branson, Missouri, passed away February 6, 2025. He entered this life on September 16, 1981, the son of William Raymond and Rosemary June (Buckley) Selfridge in Iowa City, Iowa.
With a heart of love, Willie was the kindest, sweetest, and the most optimistic soul. He loved listening to old time country music, eating, and watching wrestling, especially Big Boss Man, who he got to meet once. Willie was fond of watching deer in his backyard and riding horses during equine-assisted therapy. His favorite horses were Winkie and Dexter. Willie had his own innocent way of showing affection to all pretty girls by saying “Hi, babe” while blowing kisses. The memories and moments created throughout his life will be cherished by all who knew him.
Willie is survived by his parents: William and Rosemary Selfridge of Branson, Missouri; brothers: Joe Martin and Tony Martin of Branson, Missouri; nephews: Jake and John Martin; step-nephews: Wayne Bane and Anthony Fountain; considered a sister, Tracey Fountain; family friend and “aunt”, Ruth Sheets; uncles: John Moyer and Jim Selfridge; aunts: Doris Trosper and Carolyn Selfridge; his friend from linkablity, Sundii Shaffer; his doctor of twenty-eight years, Dr. James Lukavsky; and beloved cats: Max, Emily, and Jasmine.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
There will be a memorial service held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday February 21, 2025, at Branson Bible Church, 533 Branson Landing Blvd, Branson, Missouri.
